After a long hard weekend of playing at the lake, the trip home is very quiet for mom and dad!

Here are some others from Christmas 2006. They didn't turn out as well as I would have liked. The color was not as dark as the first attempt. Taste was very similar. I followed the same receipe as before, EVOO and Yard Bird Rub. I didn't brine these either, which I plan on doing next time.

The finished birds. I had never smoked turkey's before. I have since done a few more and will try and find some more photos to post along with my instructions.

2006 Thanksgiving birds

Here are some turkeys I did on turkey day 2006. I found the old photos and thought I would share them. I foiled the legs and wings so they didn't burn. I used EVOO and then Yard Bird Rub on them.
